Absolutely!
Yes, you can lose your certification. If it turns out, based on the levels of complaints, IADB determines you have mislead us about your emailing practices, your certification privileges can be withdrawn after consultation with iCop.
What will happen? You will be placed on a banned list that is accessible by anyone, subject to a fine of $5,000 and reported to the relevant government authority for carrying out Unfair Trade Practices.
You may also be sued by the Internet access provider(s) that received unsolicited bulk email for any loss suffered.
In addition, you will lose your certification if you no longer meet any of the other requirements, and, depending on the circumstances, you may be subject to the stipulated fine, reported to the government authorities and placed on a banned list.
